So you think your extra bedroom is worth 45k? I would say over the road definitely over paid, but good luck selling it.bex2012 said:
Yeah alright, the one bed terrace house over the road has just sold for that!Crashy_Time said:
240k tops, and maybe less depending on how Covid and the economy shapes up (or down) next year.grumiofoundation said:
How surprising to hear you say that...Crashy_Time said:Not bad, but it is overpriced IMO.
Have you ever considered once giving an actual price that property should be rather than saying everything is overpriced - you are an expert on housing prices after all?0 -
No but I do think having an additional three rooms, a proper hallway, plus a garage is worth it.Crashy_Time said:

How much would your house have cost five or six years ago?bex2012 said:

The nearest comparable terraced two bed houses on the estate, with conservatory, garage, refitted bathroom and kitchen sold for around £260k-£270k depending on the street. Our property has never been on the open market so I couldnt tell you how much it would have cost to buy then.

I think the sofas are far too big, it looks a little cramped.it could use some homely touches too, a picture and the odd throw...if you removed possessions to sell l think you stripped it back a little too much.1

Nice house, everyones taste is different. one sofa needs to go in the garage

Can I ask why? They are bog standard 2 and 3 seater sofas. Even if we removed the 2 seater, the 3 seater wont fit under the window, and I dont want the tv at the bottom of the stairs as it looks awful, plus the door to the conservatory is in the way. As for the other bits, thats how my house normally is, I dont do ‘stuff’ as it collects dust, plus I have cats, so anything left out ends up on the floor. I have a few pictures, houseplants and a couple of lamps and really thats it. I worked out that if we do move, theres only about ten items of furniture in the house! Of course - the second picture makes it look as though the sofas are practically touching. That's why l think they look top large for the space. I see, l understand, l don't do clutter either but l like cosy. The kitchen and bathroom are nice.bex2012 said:

It is probably a nice house but the pictures really don't do it justice. It looks like someone has just taken a few quick snaps on their phone and sent them straight up to Rightmove. A similar thing happened to the house I bought recently - the pictures didn't make it look great so it didn't fetch as much as it might have with better pictures.1
