Hi, i have a telephone court hearing soon, and last week i recieved a lengthy 30 page dossier from solicitors defending every part of there claim, i had previously usedd a MSEtemplatein2019 and i had it thrown out and won, and they also sent me a letter last week saying they will reduce fines by £80 if i pay before court…

Although their NTK doesn't comply with the exact wording of s8(2) of POFA, the danger here is that a CJ may well consider that it is 'substantially compliant', in that it conveys the same meaning.

I would not want to go to all the trouble and expense of an appeal, only to come up against HHJ Stoneface who takes that view.

There are certain types of cases, and a certain calibre of OPs, where an appeal is a worthwhile option. This one doesn't meet either of those criteria.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years.
