JUDGEMENT OR ORDER RE PRIVATE PARKING TICKET

D_P_Dance said:Why not just send a letter to the effect that a judge erred in law to his/her line manager, copying it to your MP.. It worked for me.
It didn't 'work for you', your issue was to do with the enforcement process, and you corrected an administrative error made by the Court.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.8 -
Judges don't have 'line managers'. Their immediate superior is the Circuit Judge
Therefore, in the jargon, he is the line manager surely.,

I do not see how such a letter could be ignored especially if copied to an MP, who is very likely to copy it to a Minister. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
@Coupon-mad i voiced the pofa 2 times then just before the judge gave his judgement he asked me if i had anything else to say i said i was not happy about the pofa decision and he said words to the effect that counsel pointed out about the initial ticket being a ntk as she mentioned something about 65 days.0

Letter from MP's secretary: Dear Mr Dance, thank you for your letter. Members of Parliament do not, as a matter of constitution and policy, interfere with Judicial decisions, as the independence of the Judiciary is one of the cornerstones of the British constitution. However, the issue you raise has been passed to the Rt Hon Robert Buckland MP, Secretary of State for Justice. A substantive reply will be forwarded to you in due course.
