It's fine, in this case your defence hardly matters.    The WS was the right one to adapt and use.

The POFA is statute law and you were not driving and the Judge accepted that as fact.  Therefore, he erred in law in misinterpreting Schedule 4 of the POFA because the Notice to Keeper was not only posted too late to comply but it also didn't comply in wording, with either paragraph 8 or paragraph 9 of the Schedule.  It was not open to the court to find a registered keeper liable.

Find out tomorrow from the local court which transcription service they use and send a pm to @BrownTrout about his offer.

Cheers bargepole.  I thought certain courts would use certain transcription services.  That's what I thought was the case when I got Mr Crosby's one from Southampton.

Cheers PM replied to , i really dont like pms now on here as you dont get a pop up to warn you if you have one and they are easily missed
  • What type of transcript do i need, whole? judgement?
  • At minimum the judgement, as that should give the finding of law that they complioed with POFA

I agree in this case, the Approved Judgment will be enough.

I do, either as an e-mail or, as soon as I log in to the the forum in the morning.  Is there a setting in your profile you have missed perhaps?
ETA  If you click on Profile (top right) then Edit Profile, you see "Notification Preferences" and in there you can select between "Pop-up" and "Email" as a notification from all the different notifications.

Why not just send a letter to the effect that a judge erred in law to his/her line manager, copying it to your MP..  It worked for me.
