    Day 78 Alt. Well done.

Try and address that work/life balance today. Not just for you but for your wife and son.

You need some down time. It isn't healthy the amount of "work" you are doing. (I say "work" because we all know how unproductive your late night sessions end up being :D )

spotted this might be of interest

    https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/all-these-weber-bbqs-are-half-price-in-this-link-from-today-for-bq-club-members-or-208-for-all-3780570

    some good prices.

Smokey Joe are very good, small enough for a single family(only) and decent price at under £40 with the discount.
if no stock try the compact at £60

Just phoned the other half up. He is calling into B&Q on the way home to see if they have got the one we want. That is a cracking offer if they have!!
    there is stock check.

there is stuff in clearance and still 50% off, this looks like a steals for £40 not sure I need one though.

Well done on 11 weeks and on the day trip

Yesterday wasn't good but I suspect the 'stress' of the day trip made you revert to type to catch up on a missed day of work and FIL came to check you weren't doing worse. Like others, I think opening up further to FIL about the issues other than addiction would help.

Work/life balance is a long way from sorted. I suspect its because work is more 'safe' than family. Hopefully that will change but you have to be proactive with it. You know by now you're a very slow learner (you're still drifting onto activities late evening which stoke you up and don't help sleep no matter how many times you're advised not to) but I think work/life balance has to be high priority, not least for your own health.

Of course family comes first, otherwise what are you working for? That doesn't mean family has to have 'equal' time or that work is neglected but it does mean it gets the time it needs to thrive. You are very well placed for that. Your business can run itself for some of the time, you have minimal travel and your wife does all the home chores. You just have to make it happen by managing your time and being less afraid of family and your place in it.

Day 78. Only working until lunch time today. Going to have lunch with family and for a big walk this afternoon after the pros meeting fml.

@ryanm8655 good to hear from you mate and thanks hope you’re well?

Debts - cards: £30,015 to go. Really I ought to find the £16 get it under £30k for month end haha. Range Rover just ticking away rn will have to start doing something towards balloon payment after I’ve got rid of the cards. Going to be messing about with the 0% for a while to come mate.

Car - we very recently took delivery of an EQC. So no BMW, two trucks though the EQC is more car like ha and I have my mates MGB on long term loan. Tbh I’m not even sure I want a fast sports car buy the MG and get an XJS after the debts are settled.

@getmore4less my Mrs isn’t very pleased with me knows I’ve not been on the self destructive stuff but fml she’s def not happy and son is !!!!!! off too lol. Not sure sending her to b&q is the best idea but I do like the look of them. Is the deal just today?

If you do get one of those awnings - don’t forget to wind it in. Tbf I’ve got a patio one of those would work quite well.

@RelievedSheff I didn’t do too bad yesterday got through a lot but today I’m whacked. Do need to accept I just can’t do it anymore need the sleep, rest etc it !!!!!! annoys me lol.

@warby68 yeah I wasn’t in a great frame of mind yesterday haven’t been for a while tbh no desire to !!!!!! up my progress so far but my head isn’t in a great place generally. Think you’re right working gives me a bit of control in my life ha and family doesn’t.

Thanks for the ‘slow’ comment fml 🙄haha made me laugh though. I’ll get there one day eh ha. Tbh I can’t really switch off, idk why just don’t really ever switch off and you’re right about it messing with my sleep. I go on the office hours +1 routine and it stresses me out idk why one for pros probably lol.

Interesting point re what am I working for? Not really ever thought about it like that. Don’t get me wrong I’d like to provide well for my family but that’s somewhat incidental for me. I could be one of those people who works a couple of days a week if I wanted to coast along I get some people would take that option and I don’t think it’s bad but just not for me.

Think they are just selling off what stock they have in stores so you would have to go to the store to see what they have.

Hoping that as the other half is going to a bigger store in Sheffield that he might strike lucky. No loss if not but a bargain if they do have one.

Could your wife try the one at Riverside retail park and the one in Netherfield, both not that far from you.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

@RelievedSheff they'd know what stock levels they have in each store at all times I’d imagine it’s updated in real time? Is Sheffield showing in stock?

@Sun_Addict both showing as no stock online. I could ask her to have a drive over tbf I would like one.
