Day 55, get through today 8wks tomorrow that seems like a bit of a milestone. No idea if I’ll get onto the figures today it’s on a reminder to be completed by the end of the weekend. Should be going out with son and wife this Friday want to make it happen even if working late and into Saturday. Weather not looking too great though somethings don’t change haha.2

The figures will still be there when you get round to them.3

Agree about the figures. Do what you need to do.
agree about the debts. It was a joint thing. Yes sometimes more you than her but then other times more her than you. She also needs to accept responsibility. I am sure she will though like you have over time.
In terms of lowering the cards ask yourself what would be worse 12k more if debt or a meltdown from
your wife (she might not have one. She might agree it’s a good idea)September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x3 -
Day 60 not very far away at all
Glad you're coping with it all - it does seem like you are taking your former triggers for a spiral much more in your stride.
You could reduce the spending card limit in preparation for you having more normal spending access. Wife can't have it every way. If she is to be trusted then the limit won't be needed so why take offence?
Hope wife starts to think more responsibly and reasonably soon. If the debt is all yours then the logical follow on is that the money is all yours too ! She can't have it both ways, not for ever.4 -
Day 55 through. Tomorrow makes it 8wks.
Absolutely whacked so no proper reply again, I'll be off to bed for 11pm tonight lol. I've done another !!!!!! mammoth day, no !!!!!! about, 20 min lunch, 30 min dinner and 1hr with the pros lol. Sometimes just needed I know but I can't !!!!!! wait for a bit of respite. Getting old and too used to having enough staff I don't need to be on it 24/7 like the old times ha. Not complaining though, just one of those times right now, will get through to the other side. Get time to look at my personal figures one day lol.
Wife has said she's going to cook for me all weekend, says I need to just have a chill one. Really looked after me today, brought me lunch with my son they had made me a chicken salad and a h/m chocolate brownie. Nice to see my boy. We are going out with son one day over the weekend but weather not meant to be great so going to decide on the day - we have a list. Promised he can come with me on a job on Friday morning and have a family afternoon.5 -
55 days is a fantastic achievement. A chilled weekend sounds like a great idea, relax and forget about work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Make sure you do have that family weekend and some down time.
Day 56 today. I guess you have another busy day today?1 -

Thanks all, yes day 56 today making 8wks. Another busy one, yes.Wife’s no spend 2 months not lasted a week fml. £280 spent today tbf on stuff that is just over half price but none of it needed. I’m told ‘bargains don’t count’. Idk a spend is a spend I think really. Apparently going to replace some basics doesn’t need to but in her words would be ‘rude not to’ at these prices. 🙄 Thing is where the !!!!!! does it stop ha.0

I think that should make your decision for you on access to cards.
She can't be trusted with them so give her a preloaded card and when it's gone it's gone.
She can't have it both ways. She says she doesn't trust you but clearly the trust doesn't work the other way either. Time to put a stop too it now.3
