    Thanks both.

Keeping in the routine getting up same time weekend as in the weekdays rest day on the training but still doing the chill out.

Another chill day today and glad I rescheduled the outdoor meal. Thought I’m not getting value from that sitting outside in the !!!!!! down rain. Actually feel quite good to know I’m thinking with that mindset tbh rather than not even considering if I’m getting value or if I did just a fleeting thought. Wife is cooking a scratch made pizza later. Pastry went ok but next time she wants to have a run out to one of the farm shop delis and buy something similar. She’s still struggling to put weight on and wants to fit in her clothes again ha so def eating more interesting meals lol.

    Tomorrow will face the finances.

Keep to the new routines they help a lot.

Good move on the meal out  if it is anything like it is with us,
We have managed every day since they opened up outside,  been silly cold and windy some days but only the odd shower so never got wet.

Today is horrendous rain and wind,  plan is us going nowhere will dig out some TV for the afternoon.

Had a little giggle about the chicken and leek pie, was wondering if  your week back was going to turn into chicken every day.
if she wants/needs pastry practice go beef wellington not chicken

You can buy pastry ready made which is allowed for these sort of meals

Good to hear you have broken the holiday demon and have it booked.
We are still playing a waiting game, family is US and that is not happening anytime soon and nothing else is worth bothering yet.

Worth going over the numbers as you have had extras not on the plan, hopefully it won't be too bad and just need some rolling over for a while longer,  there was room in there to do that without impacting the main goals.

Weekend didn’t exactly go as planned - son wasn’t too well and last night I got hardly any sleep, not related. Really !!!!!! bad day today tbh. Not gone anywhere or done anything not the best start to getting into a better routine etc. Onwards and upwards.

@RelievedSheff thanks and she is - think being off IG is helping her tbh not been on that for quite a while kept to the minimal amount of apps on her phone etc. She’s definitely more present for son. Has spent some money on the gym I get why she wanted to go back - bit of a social thing for her but the gym is a lot cheaper than all the beauty appts she’s finished with so I’m saying that’s a win win.

@getmore4less yeah hoping I haven’t completely !!!!!! the routines definitely do help know that much.

Weather was terrible yesterday and son not too good so yes def right decision there.

Tbf it was me who told her I’m not eating the ready made pastry ha probably be ok idk. Wife’s chicken game is very strong as you know mate haha we’ve had roast chicken today just to give you a bit more of a laugh. Would definitely be nice if she does beef wellington in no position to complain about food though lol.

US going to be quite a while wouldn’t be surprised if its next year. We’ve took the risk for October but idk could have been a waste Greece not announced as green yet so far as I know.

Yeah I really need to go over the numbers, haven’t so far today and it was planned so !!!!!! whacked might be rescheduled for tomorrow evening.

So glad to see you back, I also missed your posts and banter. You sound like a new man, whatever the new debt is I think it'll be some of the best money you've spent.

Great choice on the aftershave, one of my favourites, Penhaligon's had an unboxed sale recently which I did manage to avoid this time,  I did drop a few subtle hints to my Husband but I think he chose to ignore them completely

@annabanana82 thanks I’m just hoping I can keep with it. OK at the moment life doesn’t always go to plan, always another weekend and did rebook meal for June.

I need to face the numbers tbh I am procrastinating about it. It’s been a really !!!!!! expensive month. The October holiday was accounted for anyway but the proportion of my rehab stay I paid for certainly wasn’t tbh I was stupid about that on the day decided I was only staying if I could have the best. Wouldn’t have been paying for my stay now had I not been a !!!!!! on the day I went tbt wife was !!!!!! mortified, told me to get my credit card out and told the staff that’s my ‘other !!!!!! problem’ and I owe nearly £100k to Land Rover FS lol. Half laugh about it now but not proud of my actions that day just given myself more unnecessary debt. Why I’m struggling to face the figures really probably why I didn’t sleep last night idk.

Holiday actually paid for out of stuff wife has sold and her trip to Bicester too. Threw both on the new 0% and put the money towards meeting the deadlines, she’s sold a bit more - all helping to get the 0% !!!!!! off in the timeframe. I need to work it out and transfer it really will at least no longer have a balance on one of the cards with 0% due in July. Might feel like a bit of a win just to get it gone.

Really very pleased with HL don’t have some massive collection or anything but will keep my eye out on the sales get something for my wife if there’s another - is it through the main website?

    Welcome back @alt80

You can either not go over the figures now and let it keep you awake again or you can just tot it all up and deal with how to repay it tomorrow after a good nights sleep. You won’t come up with a plan tonight as you’ll be too tired and won’t think straight. The figures will still be there in the morning.

Sorry to hear you’re not sleeping well @alt80. I think you’re right, need to get those figures down on paper then they become less scary and you can start to tackle them.
So glad wife’s sales are going well. It’s going to sound silly but I’ve been worried the last couple of days about the list of spends (not the rehab, the little bits & pieces).

@Legs21 Thank you. Yeah I need to open excel up and at least enter the data. Suppose it’s facing I’m letting my family down again. Anxious about everything at the moment even stressed about walking into my own office tomorrow and meeting with accountant later in the week got some irrational thoughts there I don’t know why just ashamed of the knock on effects of my past actions I suppose. Wife keeping me on the straight and narrow doing the tea, herbal pills and spraying the calm spray over the bed before sleep time half anxious I need to sleep for her sake.

@stymied she’s been really good tbh been round her parents most of the time. Sales have kept her occupied. I did have a bit of a want to spend today tbh thought about going into town decided not to, did the therapy stuff instead. Glad to be home but it’s sinking in, I’ve got a !!!!!! long road ahead, plenty relapse and tbh my addictive tendencies go way beyond drugs.
