Driving that RR must be cheaper to stop and buy something than the fuel to go home.
When was your last scan not that long ago?
They will just do a difference check and come up with a consultant fee

Day 48. Said this a few times now but this Friday night I'm planning to share a bottle of wine with my wife. Won't if I'm not very well. Something good that's come out of my prolonged abstinence from the booze is not drinking to a stupid level when I don't feel very well. 100 it does not help - seen that now I've had time off the booze. I was always certain I wouldn't become a full time teetotal - I enjoy a drink starting to really miss it but needs to be in moderation. Think my going out drinking days are behind me tbh can't risk it leading to the next level.
Not the longest period of abstinence I've had from the other stuff tbt. Lockdown 1 I worked out I didn't touch it for just over 10 weeks, sure everyone with a substance problem has probably said this before but this time really does feel different. I've never put the effort into seeing it for what it is in the same way before. Idk what's happened to me tbh been through times of wanting to sort myself out before but nothing like this. Desire to spend stupid amounts of money on stuff is almost non existent - can't remember a time like it. Unfortunately still don't feel well know I need to give it time but so !!!!!! hard sometimes.
Son had a brilliant first day back and was whacked this evening. Expected tbh but was quite glad he just wanted to watch a bit of tv and go to bed slightly early. His school has featured his work again - last thing he did with wife on the home schooling. Turning into some overbearingly proud parent FML ha but I'm buzzed for him doing well at school and settled straight back in like he's never been away.
Only spend was food delivery. Filling the Range tomorrow. Next month I think the car dealers open, going to go and see the C coupe and potentially !!!!!! the BM off. Keep having fleeting thoughts of a DB7 instead and just let the debt carry on a bit longer but don't really think it's the answer. Probably could do with a couple of years off from sports cars, learn to stop driving like a !!!!!! haha does me no favours really and also a bit self destructive too really.
@getmore4less haha some days you'd be right today I was more or less passing by home and nice to sit at a table to eat my lunch for once. Can't !!!!!! wait for the cafes opening up ha.
MRI scan was a bit less than 3 years ago but didn't include the heart CT as I didn't think that's what was wrong with me so didn't have the add on. Got the all clear but older now and they've also got a new machine more accurate or something probably idk. Tbf I didn't ask re any potential damage I've caused myself. When I spoke to the bloke didn't seem to matter about the last test they do the whole thing over again and extra to do the heart CT and consultation with cardiologist. I was honest why I want it, they were giving me the hard sell probably thought they'd got a total idiot ha. Tbh no real symptoms beyond 8pm ish tiredness and a few headaches so idk today doesn't seem worth it. Bit paranoid because I've been reading some of the med/ scientific journals tbh. Lot of coke !!!!!! up the brains of mice lol. Wife reckons I've probably got about the same number of cells up there so maybe accurate who knows.3 -

Give it time, a well balanced diet and plenty of water and you will soon start to feel more human again.2 -
Happy Tuesday
Nice morning for once. Still freezing though def not BBQ weather lol was def unnaturally nice weather last lockdown.
Realised I need to do a short term cash flow make sure I pay the 0% off in time. New purchase card is 20 months - know I’ve had longer than that in the past but that seems to be all any of them are offering right now.@essex123456 haha I don’t fail to see the irony in you coming on here just to tell me what an obnoxious !!!!!! I am. People in glass houses springs to mind. FML plenty of women !!!!!! me off and some don’t - I tend to take people as I find them generally tbh.
@RelievedSheff hope that’s the case mate. Will be my luck on my way to sorting myself out for the first time ever and I’ve unwittingly !!!!!! myself completely. First time in a while I’m looking forward to eating ha having chicken this evening but she’s doing some piri piri rice and veg no plain salad in sight this week here.2 -
I could crack the BBQ open right now and have a BBQ breakfast. It is lovely out on our patio at the moment with the sun shining
Sods law I have got to go out on site tomorrow and the weather forecast looks shocking!!2 -

Rather than TELLING your wife to clean your RR and TELLING your wife to take the lawn mower for a service, you might want to think of ASKING her. I'm sure she would appreciate it more.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3662

@RelievedSheff haha tbf weather looks bad for rest of week here or I’d tell you to tell him get it done Thursday.
@JGB1955 iswyacf - think people get me a bit wrong sometimes on here tbh. I 100% wouldn’t be offended if she told me to get on with my job, I’m not setting out to upset her.
Ultimately I don’t think I really need to say to her pretty please wash and polish the car or sort the mower out no more than she needs to ask me pretty please to value the crap ind unit dev I went to yesterday. Didn’t go just for the fun of looking around a half completed crap dev of tin sheds - tbh we all have !!!!!! parts of the job we’d rather skip from time to time but that’s life. Why a lot of women need it sugar coating in pink icing with the hundreds and thousands on top then next hour moaning about not being taken seriously I’ll never get.
Said to wife from the start and something I 100 stand by - fine by me if she wants to look after the house but needs to be more than a quick dusting of the surfaces once a day or whatever most women get away with, not willing to mow the lawn or climb a ladder to do the gutters or whatever she can get a job and start paying. Know a few blokes who’ve got married over the years, the wife popped a kid or two out, they don’t work and most they do on the house is a bit of dusting and a whip round with a vacuum yet he’s grafting all week at work and all weekend on the house. That’s not for me, she knows the score and not like I won’t help her out once in a while tbh but not something I plan to do regularly unless she fancies sorting my work out for me. I don’t think that’s being rude or sexist or whatever personally - ultimately I bring the money in and she doesn’t. Few years back I did use that to not be very nice tbf will admit that much and not something I’m proud of but I’m not like that anymore.

It's also basic politeness to choose your language to make the person you are talking to or about feel good, thank people and show appreciation for them doing things even when it is their job. My bosses all ask me to do things - of course we all know I will say yes unless they have (yet again) asked me to be in two places at once or I've already done it or something. And they notice what I have been doing and thank me. Same in my family, we all thank each other for things like cooking a meal or earning/paying for things.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
