Six points for using a hand-held mobile while driving. You've just kinda proved that you were doing exactly that.0 -

I'm not disputing that the other party's manoeuvre was sub-optimal, but if you look at the actual lane markings (the dividers - forget about spurious text on the road some way back) then there is no natural exit from the right lane onto the M18 to Donny without crossing the left lane of the roundabout. (There are no dashed lines, for example, that allow the right lane of the roundabout to sweep into the right lane of the exit). Therefore for you to make that manoeuvre required you to change lanes - you did so without confirming that the way was clear; you assumed that any other vehicle would be taking that exit (and also assumed it would be into the left lane of the exit). That's why it is your fault, but you'll get away with 50:50 provided the other party doesn't have dashcam evidence.
If you'd had a dashcam it would have proven your culpability.0 -

I would never ever be in that lane to take that turning. If I found myself in that position on approach to the turn off, I would have gone around the roundabout again...1

(OP also clearly stated that they hurt their neck by checking over their shoulder after the impact).
there is personal injury as my back and neck got hurt looking in my blond (!) spot for her when she hit me

PS - who else is expecting a flounce from the OP once they realise that they're getting very little support for their viewpoint?1

You can exit into the outside lane of the dual carriageway or slip road and should do so and not cut across into the inside lane, but you need to be observant.
The M62/M1 Lofthouse interchange is the same as this, but no road markings. The signage off the M62 indicates both lanes of the roundabout can be used for M1 north. If you are on the inside lane of the roundabout you exit to the outside lane of the M1 sliproad.
In this case looking at the drawing it appears the other driver has used the M18 lane and not gone onto the M18 using the outside lane of the roundabout to go right around. Regardless, without any dashcam footage it will go 50:50 as on roundabouts it is imperative all users ensure their exit is clear before changing direction.1 -

Clearly states TWICE i can use the right hand lane for the m18 also its not "some way back" also shows TWICE that the left lane is for m18 only, also the little comment about looking "after" wasnt what I said I said it was when so I looked AS she hit me and for her to hit my back end I would of had to have been infront of her so who is the one not paying attention then if she's trying to go around the roundabout in the left lane when it states straight on? sorry if I'm getting pissy but I'm glad I found this video, and people commenting on me indicating why would you not indicate to let people know your exiting a roundabout? if your going straight over a roundabout or turning right do you not indicate to leave?0 -
Looking at the actual approach to the turn off, there is no way I would ever ever be in the offside lane. I think the best yoou can hope for is 50/50.0
