I went to various shops on the retail park just various looking around at the shops. I didnt at this instance
There are 6 retailers in this retail park so doubtful any of them employed UKPC.  You now need to find out who owns the land ..... ask Reading Council
  • I have asked Reading coucil, they have said they dont own the land, and have asked me to contact, UK parking control, land registry, and reading CIC. I have tried but are closed due to covid, or cant get through to some. Will try again. Any other suggestions?

You were meant to ask their NDR dept to find out who pays the rates for the car park. Same as on every thread.
    Have you googled?

Non-Domestic Rates Dept - ask 'who pays the NDR for this site?'
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you are trying to phone them stop.  In matters such as this, which may end up in court, get everything on paper.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Hi all.
I tried googling to see who pays the NDR for site. I havent found anything. Tried contact the council they couldnt help either. So in the end they said to sent an email titling "freedom of act"information. Maybe they will give me information this way. I have to wait till 13 nov for answer. In meanwhile is there anything that will work the POPLA route. Worried about the deadline. Simple piece of information I feel silly I cant seem to find it. Sorry for being troubling. Appreciating your help

You need a FOI request - Freedom of Information.  When you say they couldn't help, what do you mean?  Did they say they don't know who pays the rates or they WON'T help?  Go to the council website and see if there is an Excel spreadsheet containing this info, lots of councils do it this way.  Did you ask the right council or the right part of the council?

This sign says "Property managed by JLL."  With a helpdesk phone number that I cannot read.

According tp GSV, that may not be the latest sign, but surely JLL will be able to help or point you in the right direction.

Jones Lang Lasalle - manage many retail sites across the country.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
