I dont know if you would consider it, the same issue. The old ticket was "left site" and this issue, they have now installed cameras and the letter they sent shows a pic of my cars "arrival" time, and "leaving" which shows apparentley 20 mins late. I have tried "complaing" to the retailer but they have not been helpful. The plan B, I assumed was "appealing"? Which I did due to COVID delays which they rejected, and are saying go down the POPLA route. I would really appreciate advice how I can get this cancelled with POPLA or good advice. I know they have no power, but I find their letters harassment and give me anxietey. It just make me not wanna shop at places were the retailers use these lot. I would so appreciate any help. Thanks so much0

So did you ask the DVLA who accessed your records as told?
You need to do so
The whole point was to confirm tjhat they asked for your data again. They have to do so, otherwise they have not complied with POFA meaning you have an easy POPLA win.2 -
Jasmine2020 you are getting top notch advice. nosferatu1001, Le_Kirk, beamerguy, Coupon-mad .... all these very experienced regulars want you to clarify the DVLA issue. I know these things can seem complicated but please clarify as requested, it'll benefit you. As above, you could have an easy POPLA win here.
DFS .... the time to complain to the landowner is before POPLA. So I think that as well as thrashing out the DVLA questions here in preparation for POPLA, you'd do well to complain again. Landowner complaints are often rebuffed first time around - if DFS own the car park take your complaint to their CEO pronto. If they do not own or manage it, find out who does and complain to their CEO. Be firm and clear, insisting on cancellation.5 -
Beamerguy, I did a subject access as advised earlier. They requested my information again0

sorry, I think I may have been confusing I made a mistake saying that I recived new ticket based on the old ticket this is not the case. I requested a subject access report from the DVLA and it show it shows UPKC requesting my information two seperate dates. one for this previous incident of "left site issue" and this "20 mins late issue. I have tried "plan A" retailer was no good, so appealed due to Covid delays. they rejected and said go down the POPLA route.
