Hey Martin - just have a 'round robin' - then it won't cost a penny and we can all sample the wonderful recipes others have posted.
(You haven't got your Old Style head on yet, if you're thinking of spending £15 for the party. Mind you - if you could get someone else to pay)

That got me thinking  We'd need a really big pot and really it'd be more economical to hang it over an open fire........ then there's be people throwing odd ingredients like belly of pork and eye of newt.......would be all be wearing our MSE cloaks with a safety pin on the lapel and pointy hats? :j
Hoorah for the MSE ol' style coven!!!!!Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
Cut all the sandwiches into 6, they'll go further, Oh, that's HM, in the breadmaker bread, of course.
See our collections thread then the recipe index for suggestions of what sandwich fillings freeze best. Then you can buy one filling per week between now and next year and spread the cost :rotfl:
And somewhere on the recipe index should be HM vegetable crisps - they freeze well too
EDIT: ROFPMSL @ old style covenWhen life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0 -
As an editor/journalist myself, and a "sister" in the NUJ, I'm perfectly willing to help if required.
But I want to point out one thing - if people have copied a recipe straight from a book or magazine onto here, they need to quote the source because that will already be copyright protected too.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0
