I think it would be a good idea if Martin promoted the book via a series of Ol' style tv programmes, you know how they say at the end 'and if you want to buy the book' etc etc.. I think this was discussed in a thread a while ago. The first half could be Martin doing his moneysavingexpert stuff for credit cards and mortgages etc. and then in the second half, how to apply it to other areas of your life like food shopping. I can just imagine Martin in Tescos looking in people's trolleys..

BTW, loved the 'Boo hoo hoo' on Sky News. :rotfl: It's become a standing joke at work.

Then he'd be sending them in the direction of Aldi/Lidl/Netto, the market and the local greengrocers, because they are invariably cheaper. Hmmm - don't think Martin would be Mr Cohen's best friend for long :)

Did this ever happen? I am looking for such a book myself! I think the tips for household management are as important as the recipes...

I think this might be the one? I've got it and it fits the bill.

Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
