Are the classic plus accounts suppose to change to spend and save accounts?

I log into online banking and the account is still showing as a classic plus.
You complete the online form linked from this page. Mine took a week to do.

If you use MDMD,s  link above on the TSB site to upgrade a Classic Plus account to a Spend an Save.

Does the 30 debit card spend feature for £5 cashback still apply or does the £5 cashback only apply when opening  new accounts ?

Per the terms (note for the avoidance of doubt that a Classic Plus account is not the same as a Classic account). There is also no such thing as a “Spend & Save Plus” at the moment.

    Eligibility.

1.1 You are eligible for cashback if you open a new Spend & Save account or Spend & Save Plus account. Opening a new account includes changing an existing TSB account, other than a Classic account, to a Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account.

Only one of my five accounts has changed over even though I did five forms.  I'm not sure if only one S&S account is allowed, I'll wait until after the holidays.
  • I had two Classic Plus, filled in a form for each and both have been converted to S&S.  Wife has the same but for some reason only one of her Plus accounts was converted.  No communications received to say there was an issue though so we'll probably submit the form again and see what happens.

I haven't changed over yet.  Could you tell me how long it took from the time you completed the form to the time when you knew it had been converted?  The TSB website mentions 7 working days to switch banking to them but not how long it takes for the internal change process.
  • Form submitted Dec 2 and confirmation from TSB on Dec 8 that accounts had been converted.

Thought I'd give it a punt for the £60 cashback and app was successful.
However, the setup was odd - no branch choice was given  - but will see if I actually get the cashback as there have been issues before with cashback sites and TSB.
  • Topcashback has £20 cashback for opening the TSB Spend and Save account at the moment.
  • What will stop me getting cashback? You will be eligible for the TopCashback cashback if you open a new TSB Spend & Save current account, you don’t have any other existing TSB current accounts
So I dont think anyone will be eligible if you already have TSB accounts but if you are any which ways opening account then worth going through TCB
