TSB launches new 'Spend and Save' current account

Woke this morning to ten emails from TSB. 😀 Five 'welcome to your new account' and five about the £5.00 / 30 transactions. So that's all my accounts transferred though the names haven't changed to Spend and Save yet.0

I got the same emails. I’m not sure if they were actually working them overnight or whether the system process is just run then.Gers said:Woke this morning to ten emails from TSB. 😀 Five 'welcome to your new account' and five about the £5.00 / 30 transactions. I now just need to see if I can spend 30 times on my debit card. I’ll try paying my credit card bill £1 at a time.....

If you've given your accounts custom names in your online banking then they won't update automatically - you need to "reset" the name to see if the change has actually gone through, then rename it again.

Credit card bill payment is my method. Worked fine last month with only one OTP request after 20 payments. This month, several OTP requests and then transactions failed and no OTP requests. Too much hassle to resolve with phone calls to TSB so I'll give up on this one.MDMD said:

I do 6 a day per card avoids OTP etc

True, but I'd rather get it done in one hit. This is the first one which has been a pain, last month for two accounts and this month for one account, 20 transactions no problem then OTP, 10 more transactions and done. I can't be bothered with doing a few a day.1

I've had trouble making debit card payments to my BOS and santander credit cards with my TSB debit cards, both BOS and santander websites are showing errors like 'not a valid signature'. Is there a way to fix this? Can a call to TSB fix this?
I've had no problem with the M&S website. I'm not doing the verified by visa part as never used before.0 -
What do you mean by this? Are you being prompted to use the verification process? No the verified by visa process doesn't come up and then the next screen just says that the card doesn't have a valid signature but it works on M&S site when making payments to M&S credit card.1
