I rang Tsb today regarding merging my newly opened account with my three older accounts .
The online banking merging happens automatically after 9 days so CS says .
If the new account online banking doesnt merge into your older account online banking you can ring up and they will fill out a form to complete it .0 -
As my original three S&S accounts come to the end of the six month offer after julys payment ...I was trying to get my head round the last posts in this thread !
Im only interested in the best way to get another 3 or 4 accounts paying £5 for another six months.
Preferably keeping my account numbers the same ...if thats possible .
It seems like WillPS may be up to speed on the best way forward .
Is the second 6mths x £5 work around as follows or could you advise your thoughts on the best way forward .
-upgrade my 3 accounts to S&S Plus
-then Downgrade the 3 accounts to S&S .
I am wondering if just opening a new 5th and 6th might be better if the above S&S Plus opening and closing is more complicated
So far 3 accounts has been enough with 90 payments I opened a 4th knowing the offers ending .

I've not 'changed' them en-masse before, and the terms forbid having more than 1 sole (and 1 joint) S&S Plus account. They also seem to indicate that it's possible to have more than one but in that eventuality you will be 'converted' to S&S - and it's not clear that 'conversion' will work in the same way as 'changing' (yet). You're on your own if you try this. What I'd be inclined to do is "change" 1 to S&S Plus this month, then "change" back to S&S next month and "change" another account over to S&S Plus, and continue until month 7 when you'd go back to the first account. I can't see any terms forbidding this.0

So far 3 accounts has been enough with 90 payments I opened a 4th knowing the offers ending .I upgraded 3 accounts to S&S Plus this month and will downgrade them again next month, only stated possible action that TSB might take is as quoted below•"If you’ve more than one Spend & Save Plus account in your own name as an individual or more than one joint Spend & Save Plus account, we may convert your additional Spend & Save Plus account(s) into a Spend & Save account or another current account from our range.•We’ll tell you in writing two months before we do this"0 -
They said the same about the previous plus account.
When my husband died his account was closed and the joint account was changed to my name. I asked if it was okay to have two accounts and the manager dealing with me confirmed it was okay.0 -
The 3 Plus accounts I downgraded last month have paid out £5 reward x 3 this monthHowever the first S+S account that I upgraded to Plus in May and then downgraded in June with £5 reward paid out in July has not paid £5 this month despite 31 DC transactions having been done early July0

I upgraded one of my TSB S&Ss to an S&SPlus on 9 July.
Today, I got my £5 for 30 tranx done in July.
I haven't (yet) been charged the £3 fee.
If I downgrade back today, do I get another 6 lot of £5 on the S&S acc?
I confess to being a bit confused by the discussion in the above posts and it would be a great help if there was concrete info from someone who is a month or two ahead in the process (and who can see what has transpired).

By the terms of the offer, absolutely you should be entitled.Whether or not you get the bonus is up to the TSB system, but if you don't get it I would expect a complaint to produce the right result.0

Can I ask how many months worth of £5 you've now received since upgrading (and downgrading)?0 -
