Can't say I've been impressed by Ulster Bank's procedures, but also got my Lloyds letter saying about the switch from them on the day it switched - which seems pretty common occurrence from many banks.
Thanks, hope as in your case no ID documents will be required, as this would only prolong what is going to be, by all accounts a slow process. Glad I decided to get one more month`s interest out of one of my soon to be defunct TSB Classic Current Account and chose the beginning of November to be my switch date thus leaving ample time I hope!

1. On 2nd Oct submitted my documents (I was asked to send documents with certification which I did at nearest NatWest branch, they dont say this on the letter but when I called they mentioned that you can go to your nearest NatWest or RBS and ask the staff to certify your documents and they will post too)2. On 14th Oct received email that my switch has started. No communication was sent in between and getting the next communication regarding switch was weird.3. On 15th Oct got another email which had my Customer number and also mentioned I will be sent activation code seperately4. Today, 16th Oct received Debit card and PIN all together but in seperate envelope ofcourseStill no sign of account number...which is fine, I wont have done anything other than setting up payee from my main bank account. Still awaiting for activation code to login to my online banking. Hopefully by 21st Oct all will be sorted incl. switch.0

no I haven't yet, don't I need the activation code to register to online banking first? Whats with the European commission link, you mean to post some other link?

Sorry, correct link: https://digital.ulsterbank.co.uk/personal/help-and-support/help-with-mobile-app.html
You should be able to use the app (with some restrictions on size of payments you can make) even if you can't use online banking yet.1 -
colsten said:This has been mentioned in passing in the £100 RBS switch offer thread but I reckon the offer does deserve its own thread.
Summary:
By 19/11/2020: switch a current account to a new Ulster Select, or to an existing Ulster current account
By 31/12/2020: deposit a minimum of £1,500, and log in through the Ulster NI app
By 29/01/2021: Ulster will deposit £100 bonus, provided you have met the terms
Excluded from this offer are those who had a switch bonus from Ulster, Natwest or RBS between October 2017 and 1st September 2020 - - - but NOT apparently those who had such a bonus since 1st September 2020. I am sure this must be bad writing but terms are terms, so I would expect them to honour them.

kimwp said:Thank you for posting this. Do you know what the equivalent eligibity for the RBS switch offer is? I'm going round in circles looking, but can't find the eligibility stated on the MSE page about it so I know it must be somewhere I'm not looking. (Just wondering if the Ulster bonus could make me ineligible for the RBS one)1

Customer number by email yesterday, activation code by text today, card reader ordered automatically as I was logging in, switch completes on 22nd, card and pin arrived today as well1

Does anyone know if the switch has to be completed by 19th November, or just apply for the switch by that date? The terms and conditions are a bit vague on this.
