How very retro0 -
I applied for the UB select account on Tuesday. Said I’d been accepted.
I then applied for a Virgin current account which appeared immediately in my online banking and a debit card arrived two days later.
Haven't heard a single thing from Ulster Bank, nothing! Not even an email.0 -

Wish I’d kept my savings account open now!
But at the time I was angry because they turned me down for a credit card and reported to Experian that I was using an alias. The ‘alias’ being my name without Mr in front which would have been what the fools asked for.0 -
I believe it was a text message after about 2 weeks.

Thanks both I will just wait and not get bothered.
The difference between banks is astounding especially as the RBS, Ulster, NatWest group procedures must be so wasteful of resources and inefficient. Not fit for the 21st Century.2 -

Can't say I've been impressed by Ulster Bank's procedures, but also got my Lloyds letter saying about the switch from them on the day it switched - which seems pretty common occurrence from many banks.0
