PS , have minster baywatch staff been on training days , "how to spot an electric vehicle "
your car has a starter motor , its electric , tell them to od off0 -
It's already clear that I've admitted to being the driver so do I amend #2 to state this and send as it is without any individual circumstances?Absolutely not., Paragraph 3 is key, it's your ONLY paragraph of facts about the car park and event. The Judge isn't psychic. Paint the picture, otherwise you can't raise these points later.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That makes sense, thank you. Should I include the entire response I posted earlier under point #3?Coupon-mad said:It's already clear that I've admitted to being the driver so do I amend #2 to state this and send as it is without any individual circumstances?Absolutely not., Paragraph 3 is key, it's your ONLY paragraph of facts about the car park and event. and are the PPC staff skilled enough to know the difference0 -
Blackdog, this is a red herring. The OP was parked there for three days, and the car (electric, converted, or not) was not plugged in, and was not charging. None of this is relevant. What matters is were the signs obvious? Then Contract etc.2

it may well be a red herring , but he did not state cars had to be plugged in or charging
think about this for a moment , why have elec only parking bays , to charge your car ! and at most locations those are time limited and they want you away ASAP , and allow another car to charge
so why allow the OP to "hog" an elec parking bay for 3 days and 3 nights
unless this was nothing to do with charging and was a new veriant of "mother and child" , giving a priority to electric cars , wsith small signage to catch folk out
next week , in small print "blue cars only"
question for the OP @nej123 the bay you parked in , did it actually have elec vehicle charging aperatus in it to charge a elec car ?2 -
Yes I can see from the photo's on the PCN's that the bay had a charging point between it and the bay next to it. Both bays were next to the main pay point and signage. The bay I used had a sign saying 'Pay on Exit' in very large letters so I assumed the info on it was general terms and didn't read completely. However, it did state on the sign Electric Vehicles Only which I failed to see. It also had in very small writing further down that vehicles must be charging.blackdog2220 said:it may well be a red herring , but he did not state cars had to be plugged in or charging

as the charging equipment was there , and not scattered around the car park in every bay it seems that you failed to work out that this bay was for CHARGING vehicles ,
I would suggest that you attemt to mitigate your losses by contacting the DVLA and asking if the Parking co asked for your info 3 seperate times
this s a condition of the bpa/ipc and DVLA that the parking co HAS to apply for your info on EACH seperate occassion
so in order to issue 3 tickets they needed to apply to the DVLA 3 seperate times and pay 3 x £2.50
failure to do this (apply 3 times) c ould cause minster baywatch problems
