It's been an expensive day today but we have bought produce to last is the next four days so averaged out it isn't that bad.

The dog is shattered after many walks today.

We have another busy day planned for today. Not sure the dog is up for it we have had to drag him out of bed for a walk this morning 🤣🤣🤣

Just having a few coffee's to start the day and then I will sort breakfast out. We are having smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough toast this morning. The salmon is from the smokehouse over the road, The eggs from the farm here and the bread from the local bakery.

We are going to walk along the coast path today to the next village along. Its about an hours walk each way with a pub at either end. Might have to get the dog into gear first. He's had his breakfast and gone back to bed 🙄

We are having surf and turf for dinner later. Got some ostrich steak and some crevettes. Not sure what I'm doing with it yet. Maybe stuffed mushroom and asparagus.

Breakfast was lovely this morning. Must go back and buy some more of the salmon before we go home. It was delicious.

The walk was a tad longer than we remembered. About 4 miles each way but off road and rough under foot. About an hour and 20 each way.

It was a nice walk though.

Luckily there was a pub in the village for mid walk refreshments.

We are now back on the van after the 4 mile walk back. The dog is shattered. He won't be much bother for the rest of the day.

Time to chill put with a few beers on the van now. Looking forward to surf and turf later on.

Don't think it will be a late night again tonight.

Our last day in Norfolk sadly. We have to go home tomorrow.

It took the sun a while to burn through but we have beautiful blue skies now. Still that stiff sea breeze cooling it down though.

This morning we started the day with a Norfolk full English. Treacle bacon, Wells sausage and black pudding from the butchers in Wells, local eggs, sourdough toast and local mushrooms and tomatoes. A  proper start to the day.

Had to walk that off then but needed a shorter walk for the dog today, we forget he is getting older. So we walked to Brancaster Staithe.

Spotted that the fish shack was open on the way back so we bought more smoked salmon and crevettes for the freezer to take home. We have a proper freezer full of products to take home.

After a quick pit stop at the van we walked back to the Jolly Sailor at the staithe for a few tipples. Discovered they have their own smoke House. Must visit for food next time we are in this neck of the woods.

We are now back on the van, chilling out much to the dogs pleasure and looking forward to a curry from the curry van tonight 😀

It's been a cracking few days. Just a shame we couldn't stay longer.

We were up and about early this morning.

We had a few coffee's, walked the dog, had some nice cheese on sourdough toast, filled up the water tank (so much easier there than to do it at home plus its soft water) and then hit the road.

We had a break after just over an hour for a coffee. Was supposed to be a quick lay by coffee but we got engrossed watching the farmers in the adjacent field harvesting cauliflowers and ended up staying 45 minutes 🤣🤣🤣

We called in at a farm shop on the way home for some nice sausages then made the last push home. We didn't make bad time considering the stops. A tad under 3 hours.

We got home, unloaded the van and its tonnes of Norfolk produce

And then headed to the local pub to extend the holiday.

Now back home  in the rain, not seen any of that for a while, with dinner prepped ready for later. Roast lamb tonight with roast potatoes and a cheesy veg bake made with some stinky blue cheese we have brought back.

Can't believe it is time to go back to work tomorrow already. Feels like wehave been away two minutes. Could go and do it all over again!
