Brilliant to see where you are now. It’s been a long slog but the finish line is definitely in sight for you now - well done for sticking with it.1

Thanks all.
Definitely can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

These light mornings make getting up so much easier.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is cottage pie.
We are off out in the van tonight straight after work so it will be home, showered and straight out. We are meeting some friends with their boat tomorrow at a riverside pub so tonight we are heading to another riverside spot just upstream. We will chuck the pie in the oven and head to the pub up the road for a couple of beers.1 -
Sounds good, enjoy 🍻I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

We had a lovely evening last night. It was dark when we parked up so we couldn't appreciate the view.
We had a few beers in the pub before heading back to the van for cottage pie. Ut was really quiet overnight and we had a great sleep.
This morning we were up and about early and enjoyed a nice walk along the river before breakfast.
When we got back we had a bacon butty before moving on. We are currently at a motorhome showroom browsing and wasting an hour.
Going to grab a quick shower while we are parked here before heading just down the road to where we are meeting our friends today.
Going for a pub dinner later to have a catch up over a few beers.2 -
We had a great catch up with friends yesterday over beer and food. Much laughter and reminiscing.
This morning we had a quick dog walk and bacon butty before heading home.
Unfortunately we got a call this morning to say that the other half's dad is in hospital with pneumonia and blood clots on the lungs and he isn't in a good way.
So the other half is on his way there now while I'm at home getting some jobs done that need doing.
We had hoped we were done with illness, and worse, in the family for a while but it looks not!
Hopefully we will have a clearer picture of his condition once the doctors have relooked at him this afternoon.
It seems pretty irrelevant all things considered but dinner later is roast pork and all the trimmings.3 -
Sorry to hear about OH’s dad being so poorly. Fingers crossed he recovers.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

The other half has just got back. He seems more upbeat for having seen him.
Apparently his oxygen levels are extremely low but he is feeling a bit better now they are pumping him full of the stuff!
He should start to improve in the next day or so all being well.

Sorry to hear about o/h's dad. Pneumonia is a nasty thing and takes some getting over. My dh has had it 3 times.
