Sounds like a nice weekend ahead, just pottering and getting bits done.

We had a lovely day at home yesterday. Got loads done and the gardens look so much better for it. Didn't even take that long in the end.

We have decided we will head to the coast today. Not sure where yet though. Will let the other half decide when he gets up.

Going to wash the bedding and get it hung out on the line first. And we will have some toast for breakfast before we go.

I expect we will have some seafood at the coast for lunch and dinner later is roast chicken with all the trimmings.

I think the dog will enjoy a day out. He hasn't been on a beach for a little while.

It was a beautiful morning in Scarborough. We got there before the crowds arrived and bagged one of the free parking spaces on the sea front.

Lots of walking involved before we got a tray of seafood and some fresh donuts.

We had a good run there and back with very little traffic. Now back home with dinner prepped, the fresh bedding on the bed (looking forward to jumping in bed tonight, why does line dried bedding always feel fresher?).

Now sat in the garden with a beer at the bar before the sun disappears around the house and it gets chilly.

Looks like a lovely day.  Nothing better than getting into fresh line dried bed linen, one of life’s simple pleasures 🙂 Shame it’s Monday tomorrow.

    Don't remind me 🤣🤣🤣

Looking forward to a weekend out in the van next weekend. I'm sure I can manage 5 days at work with a weekend out on the horizon 🙄
