Back to some sort of normality this morning. Waking up for work at home for one thing.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is lamb chops, rice and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • load of washing
    • cleaning the kitchen
It will most likely be another early night tonight. Try and catch up with ourselves this week!

£380 sent to the credit card account today.

The scales were not kind last night. A 1.5lb gain. Not completely unexpected though and I will get it back off again in the next few weeks I'm sure.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is haggis with sweet potato mash and greens.

    Tonight's jobs are:

The funeral was brilliant, which seems an odd thing to say about a funeral but from start to finish it was just what he would have wanted. A fantastic celebration of a live well lived.

Friday seems to have come around quickly this week. It's been a funny old week and in some ways I will be glad for a bit of normality back next week!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is bratwurst.

No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog. We are having a quiet weekend at home this weekend.

A weekend at home this weekend.

The washing machine has already been busy. I did a general load overnight which was washed and dried ready to put away when we got up, some polo shirts have had a quick wash and are hung out on the washing line and the van bedding is now in on a hot wash and dry.

We have opened all of the windows this morning to give the house a good airing. Love the fresh morning air.

We have just been around the block with the dog. It was a beautiful morning with the miss rising off the fields.

Now back having a coffee before I put breakfast on,  beans on sourdough toast this morning.

Next on the jobs list is a visit to the farm shop. I'm going to send the other half to the supermarket today. Its a bigger shop as we are a bit out of sync with being out on the van Monday and Tuesday this week. He's better at getting the bulky stuff. While he's out I will clean the van. Think that can have a good airing today as well. Will get all of the hatches open.

Need the sun to get on the grass and dry it out. Planning to Potter around in the garden this afternoon and have a good tidy up and get the grass cut for the first time this year.

No other plans really. Will take the dog out somewhere this afternoon. Might see if its warm enough for a drink in the garden when we are finished.

It's a slow cooked curry for dinner later.
