We had a lovely quiet evening last night. A few beers, a cheesy old film, Batteries Not Included and a very tasty homemade pie.
It's a cold frosty start to the day this morning. We have had a quick walk to drain the dog and are now back on the van having a couple of coffee's waiting for breakfast to cook.
The plan for today is lots of walking around the park.
Going to cook a salmon Wellington for dinner later tonight and we plan to watch another cheesy film. American Werewolf in London.0 -
We had a lovely day yesterday with plenty of walking.
Today we have an odd day. We will have breakfast and coffee here first. Then we need to deal with the van tanks before we leave emptying the grey waste and refiling the water tank.
We need to get some diesel and refill the LPG bottles as well today.
Tonight we are stopping in the car park where I work. Definitely won't be late for work tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣
There is a nice park just down the road and some good pubs so a walk and some beer sounds like a good Sunday before I make a roast chicken for dinner later.
Think it will be an early night tonight ready for a long day of work and funerals tomorrow 🙄1 -
Staying in work's car park now there's a location 🤣🤣
Hope you have a great Sunday and the funeral goes as well as these things can tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Living the dream 🤣🤣🤣🤣0

We had a very quiet night at work. The only noise was an owl for a lot of the night.
Overpayment sent to the mortgage account this morning. No win on the Premium Bonds again.
Breakfast was a bacon sandwich today but the rest of todays meals will be grabbing something on the hoof. Think I will grab a sandwich from the sandwich van and we will probably end up with a takeaway this evening after the funeral wake.
It's a funny day today. A morning at work and then this afternoon is the service and wake in a social club we have not been too for many years. The dog will have to be a good boy in the van, which I'm sure he will be.0 -
March Premium Bond draw is tomorrow the 4th March.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0

Yesterday was a long day. The send off was perfect, he would have been overwhelmed by the whole event and would have certainly loved the motorbike escort for the funeral procession.
There are certainly a few sore heads this morning. I'm looking forward to actually going home tonight and flopping on the sofa.
Definitely not doing anything strenuous today!
Although one of us is going to have to nip to the shops. We will toss a coin for it1
