Mum's had a couple of awful nights with her dog - just non-stop barking, She doesn't seem to be scared as such, just sees them as a threat and so barks herself hoarse and Mum ends up with her ears pretty much ringing! Having said that, it seems that the big display in the town park must have used almost entirely low-noise fireworks this year as we heard almost nothing aside from the final flourish from that one - they would usually be far louder. Good for them!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

The fireworks were certainly not as bad as we have had in previous years so I do think that people have been using the low noise ones around us.1

Fingers crossed the dog is ok with the fireworks. There haven't been many at all round our way this year so far, they usually start up a few days beforehand.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

We were surprised to have absolute silence on the firework front last night - we were expecting some, but presumably all those who decided to do them early went for the weekend. How tonight will be, goodness knows.
I was highly approving to hear of the petition being delivered to parliament today calling for restrictions on when fireworks can be used - I will be hoping it succeeds!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Plenty of fireworks here but luckily our dog isn’t bothered about them. Hope it wasn’t too much your way @RelievedSheff0

The dog had a terrible evening. He was a quivering wreck before we even got home from work. Poor thing wouldn't even go in the garden for a wee so he went to be desperate for the loo. The other half got up at 11pm when it had quietened down and took him outside.
Hopefully it will be quieter tonight for him.
Mid week already. £380 sent to the credit card account.
