Friday's here. Another working week flown by.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is Shepherd's pie.

No jobs to do tonight. We will walk the dog, grab a quick shower and then head off out in the van. Only going half an hour down the road this weekend but it will be nice to get out and about again. We are meeting up with some friends tomorrow who have recently bought a camper van so it will be nice to have a catch up in a city we all know well.

A quiet night tonight first though. A couple of beers in the closest pub and then back to the van for dinner.

It should be. Got a meal booked in our favourite doggy friendly restaurant tomorrow night and we will visit some nice pubs trough the day.

Well that was a busy weekend but thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We have walked miles, had a great catch up with friends and ate and drank the weekend away.

This morning we went for a catch up with the dogs brother. Not seen them for ages so it was nice to have a catch up.

We are now back home chilling out. Not much else planned for today. Got a load of washing in and need to prep dinner shortly.  Roast chicken today.

Midweek again. Another week flying by.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is loch trout with rice and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • vacuuming the house
    • weigh in Wednesday
All of our jobs are a day ahead of themselves this week. The dog is at the vets tomorrow for his rabies booster. We have decided with it being Halloween we will head out for something to eat afterwards rather than go straight home and have him upset by the kiddies in their costumes. Not decided which of the pubs we are going to yet though, they all have meal deals through the week so it will come down to what we fancy eating.

Thanks a great idea to avoid trick or treaters. They drive our dog mad too. I’m locking our gate and putting a sign up this year as I’m helping out at a Halloween event at the park across the road until 6 and can’t be doing with them knocking after that, I’ll be all Halloween’ed out by then 😆

I have a sign that I put up every year. Bear goes nuts when anyone knocks on the door. Mr LH has suggested an alternative sign saying the were wolf that lives here will eat trick or treaters. Not going to happen!

Where I live there are a lot of elderly people or couples, all the kids have grown up, so rarely get any trick or treaters. Will have a few bits in just in case. Our village have a fb page and have a Halloween Trail page, where if you want treaters calling you just add your address. Xx
