The scales have not been kind this evening. I have allegedly put on 3lb this week 🙈

Must work on that this week!

It's pay day and money shuffle day.

We have had a £270 underspend this month. I have sent £200 to the savings account and the £70 I have used to book one of our bank holiday breaks for next year. Then it is the usual £200 to the savings account, £100 to the Premium Bonds and £100 to the ISA.

Breakfast and lunch are from stores tonight. Breakfast was cereals and we have both taken our packed lunches to work. Dinner tonight is at the pub after the dog has been to the vets.

No jobs to do tonight, we got them out of the way last night. Must remember to get the lamb out of the garage freezer for Sunday dinner though.

    It's Friday again.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is Bratwurst. A few beers watching a film on the sofa first though.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • load of washing

Considering we were planning a quiet weekend at home we have been fairly busy. Yesterday flew by.

Today looks to be going the same way.

The washing machine is on its second load of bedding, the cooker hood filters from the house and the van are in the dishwasher, we have been to the garden centre and been for a couple of walks with the dog.

Trying to tire the dog out again so he sleeps through any fireworks. He wasn't too bad yesterday with them.

Breakfast this morning was smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast and dinner later is roast beef and all the trimmings.

Back out with the dog for another walk shortly.

The numbers are coming down nicely.
Hope you tire the dog out before any fireworks 🤞

@RelievedSheff always good to see your updates. Don’t worry about the weight gain, at least you haven’t put on 8lbs on holiday ha. My wife has put on 4lbs too. Tbf she needed it, no excuse for me, I’ve just eaten like a pig.

    Another working week begins.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is beef in black bean sauce, noodles and spring rolls made wit the leftover beef from last night's dinner.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • weekly shop
Hoping for a quieter night for the dog tonight. He hasn't been too bad this weekend, we have certainly seen him much worse but it still isn't nice for him.
