Yes I felt the chill when I was walking to work this morning, felt I could've done with my gloves.

Years ago my daughter used to eat the Kelloggs crunchy nut flakes and I used to buy the odd branded one then refill the empty box with supermarket own brand, She never noticed!

We've changed to the Tesco wheat biscuits too and like you think they're similar to Weetabix; certainly a good swap for half the price!
  • Forgot its weigh in Wednesday today.

Another pound and a half lost this week.

Getting so close to my target now.

Congratulations on the loss.  That's a good loss when you're close to target weight.  How much more to go?

Well done 👏 You’ve not starved yourself or been counting every calorie, just eating less, no faffing about and got the job done.

    3lbs to target weight now.

Although I might reconsider the target when we get back off holiday and look at losing another half a stone. There are definitely places I could still lose more!

It certainly isn't the stereotypical weight loss diet but it does seem to have been working for us and we certainly don't feel like we are missing out on anything which is half the battle.
  • Another chilly start to the day. At least it was dry and bright though this morning.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon wellington and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • vacuuming the house
One week to go now until we set off for Europe. Starting to get excited about it now.

I use the Tesco wheat biscuits too. Not worth paying extra for a ‘label’ 👍
    January spends - £587.58
  • There was a frost this morning which we were not expecting.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pork and apple burgers with sweet potato wedges, onion rings and coleslaw.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • load of washing
Not much else planned for tonight other than chilling on the sofa with a few beers watching a film or two.

Might flick the heating on tonight for an hour or two if it is going to be cold again.
