    Mid week already.

I think I am finally catching up at work again. Can see the end of the list of emails from last week appearing!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was soardough toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon wellington and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the kitchen
I'm at the hairdressers after work and the other half has a late appointment at the doctors so we will be having dinner a bit later tonight.

She was laughing at herself after lol.

My wife is so disciplined about food that she can just eat the same thing for a few weeks but I don’t have that kind of discipline with food and it frustrates her- she’s trying to track my calories and I’ve ate three !!!!!! home baked cakes at work. So she’s there trying to !!!!!! ask the baker at work what went in the cake ha. I actually really don’t want her losing weight not because I am being controlling but because she doesn’t realise that when she is at the 45kg range she doesn’t look that healthy and wonders why her strength is down- can’t see it for what it is as she thinks she looks amazing at that weight. Idk should keep my mouth shut and not interfere I am !!!!!! banned from the kitchen because I cook a bit like you, for taste and enjoyment rather than just for fuel.

Alt80 - I don't wish to hijack RS's diary but if you'd rather eat a more varied diet as it sounds like you would, then can you not eat the same meals as your lad does - it would probably be really good for him to see you eating normally as well, and with eating disorders massively on the rise among teenage lads over the last few years, you would likely be doing him a real favour. Presumably there are already two meals being prepped each time, so it wouldn't make any odds if you and he ate the same diet, and your wife did her own thing, surely?  Ugh - I really do dislike diet culture and all the damage it has done - generally, but particularly to women!

RS your holiday looked absolutely fantastic - the IOW is one of those places that has been on our list to visit for years - we'll get there one day!  As always your photos made it feel that you took us all with you, though!

A quarter pound lost this weigh in Wednesday.

Much better result than I expected after a week of excess so I'm happy with that. Definitely not complaining 😀

Well done that’s great especially as you’ve been away. Proof you don’t need to starve yourself to lose weight just be sensible.

@RelievedSheff she is only 5’3”. Sounds !!!!!! terrible but I hate seeing her at that weight, massive !!!!!! turn off tbh. She’ll bulk up to about 52kg eating well, training well and looks amazing but she loves that supermodel look idk.

It’s the walking mate, why you’ve had a tiny loss this week. The other month I was clocking up a lot of steps and training but eating a !!!!!! disgusting amount of food, was 2kg down by the end. I gain and lose the same !!!!!! weight, know I’m an embarrassment to my wife and should sort my head out but I like my food too much and don’t train anywhere near hard enough to get in the shape she’d like me in.

@EssexHebridean our son has breakfast and lunch at school during term time but broadly eats the same as we do the rest of the time. My wife is pretty strict about him not having kid food. He does likes his food so I doubt he will get an eating disorder. She isn’t big into dieting as such, she’s into fashion and the girls that model all wear their clothes hanging off them rather than actually !!!!!! fitting them.

Seems I am getting my monies worth from the £2 sweepstake at work  :D

Another wet and dreary day instore today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores tonight. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is air fried chicken thighs with lime and coriander rice and vegetables. Trying the new air fryer out tonight, it looks a lot more complicated than our old trusty one was!

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • vacuuming the house

    It's Friday  :D

A sunny start to the day which always makes things easier.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pork and apple burgers with chips, corn on the cob and coleslaw.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • load of washing
Tried out the new air fryer last night and was suitably impressed with it. It is much quieter than the previous one. Will take a bit of getting used too all the buttons and functions and the touch screen, the other one was a simple heat dial and time dial, but it seems to be a decent unit. Going to use it again tonight for the burgers and the chips.

I started feeling under the weather at work yesterday and the other half said I was hot to the touch last night so I must be fighting something off. Don't feel any worse this morning just very tired. Fingers crossed it stays away!!
