No chance of a lie in this morning. We were woken by people leaving for work, then the  bin man, then the dog so we admitted defeat and got up.

Took advantage of the cooler temperature this morning to give the dog a good walk.

We had a couple of slices of toast and then got the van out and set off for York. We are far too early to get into the festival so we have called into the Designer Outlet for a bit of shopping.

Done mine and only spent £65 so the other half is on strict instruction not to go mad! He's in there now so we shall see.

Think we will grab some lunch in the festival and then we are planning to cook alfresco this evening. Looks set to be hot so it will be too warm if we cook in the van. The other half has said he will cook tonight. He wants to do the one pot tomato pasta dish he perfected when we were in France last year.

No complaints from me because it was delicious.

We must remember to keep hydrated today. The weather looks set to be hot and sunny all day and there is no shade on the runway!

Day One at the festival was brilliant. We somehow ended up back stage playing in Eliie Sax's cars 🤣🤣🤣

Day two is starting with a hangover that's for sure!

The festival was amazing. Just got back home after a weekend of none stop laughter. Its been great and we have met some amazing people.

    Time to chill out now.

Got a load of washing to hang on the line and a chicken to cook for dinner later but not planning on doing anything else today.

Dogs asleep,  he isn't going to be much trouble today 🤣🤣🤣

It's was absolutely fantastic thank you.

It is by far and away the best festival we go too and has been for the last 3 years it's been held. It is so friendly and there are no idiots there.

We were thinking we might not be able to attend next year because we will need the extra days annual leave for our Romania trip, but the organisers have said don't worry, let them know nearer the time and we can arrive late Friday night after work and they will let us in.
