Time to Face The Music

Back to work again. A four day week for us this week so not too bad.

£98 sent to the energy account today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pulled pork wraps to use up some leftovers from yesterday.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• weekly shop

Another wet and miserable day. The dog is not impressed.

Breakfast and lunch are from stores today, cereals and packed lunches respectively. We are delivering a nieces birthday card and present tonight after work so will pick up a takeaway on the way home.

No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog.

According to my weather app the next 3 days are going to be good. Forecasting 27 degrees on Friday ☀️😎

Weather has been dire…..hopefully the forecast will be correct for the next 3 days and here’s hoping we get a better August 🤞 The trip planning sounds exciting.

I’ve avoided checking the weather for days as it’s been so !!!!!! awful. Friday is looking like it’s going to be 27 but cloudy, think I’ll be keeping an eye on it before I get the covers off the garden furniture and get the bbq going.

We are at a festival this Friday to Sunday so hoping for a dry weekend!

Sunshine at last. Doesn't it make everything easier in the morning?

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is thai sausages with noodles and stir fried vegetables.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• cleaning the kitchen
• weigh in Wednesday

Neither of us is holding out much hope for this weigh in Wednesday. We have not really been careful with what we have eaten this week. I feel like I have put weight on. So will see what the scales say later!

Last day at work for this week and I think I have lined myself up a nice stead day.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is garlic chicken with rice and vegetables.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• load of washing
• vacuuming the house
• cleaning the kitchen
• plugging in the van and turning on the fridge
• sorting our clothes out for the weekend

A busier day in store after work today but we can then enjoy a three day weekend away in the van.

Weigh in Wednesday showed we have both put on a pound this week, not unexpected, we really were not careful with what we ate last week. Must do better this week!
