Dog is having a whale of a time but he is constantly tired.
Making us realise he is starting to slow down now. We will have to start being easier on him soon!0 -
Love the photo of the dog - living his best life 😆 Our dog is 12 now and definitely slowing down. She still gets excited for a run with her ball on the park but gets tired quickly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

The idiot has just just disappeared into the undergrowth in the "Bark Park " and come out constantly shaking his head.
Can't find anything in his ears but suspect there is a grass seed or something similar in there. Looks like a trip to a vets tomorrow 🙄0 -
Another busy day in store for today.
We are heading to Shanklin old town and then are hoping to get into the beach car park at Bembridge for the night.
Need to deal with the van tanks before we set off though. And we will grab breakfast here. Bacon and egg sandwich this morning I think.
Will probably get a shower while we have facilities here as well.
Just had a fleeting shower of rain. Hope that sorts itself out!0 -
We managed to get parked right on the beach yesterday. The weather was hit and miss but that didn't stop the dog and the other half going for a swim.
Shanklin Old Village was beautiful as well.
I think we are having a day off driving today and staying here. Plenty of walks on the beach.
Got some stuff to use up in the fridge for breakfast so a small full English and we are going to get some fish from the fish mongers for dinner. Have that with some rice and vegetables.
Dog doesn't want to get up this morning 🤣🤣🤣2 -
They were brave going swimming. I never have like cold water though. I dont blame the dog for staying in bed. He is probably still defrosting.

Hot drinks, another shower and a hot breakfast will sort them out.

We were going to stop beachfront at Bembridge again today but the weather has kicked up and it looked a bit exposed down there so we have been up to Culver Down before booking a last minute pitch at Southland Caravan Park for the night.
Not where we would ideally spend the night but it's much more sheltered and the pub down the road is nice.
Any port in a storm!
