Scrap that last update. It seems the grumpy email has worked wonders.
The wheels and tyres will now be with us tomorrow after all.0 -
Glad the wheels are spinning their way to you for tomorrow. Surprising what a grumpy e mail can do.

Good news re the wheels but I wouldn't be dealing with that company again if I were you.1

Wasn't expecting to be scraping ice off the car this morning. Even worse that we had to scrape the car and the van to get the van out. On the plus side it does mean that it was dry and sunny. The dog loved playing in the frost this morning.
Breakfast and lunch are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals and we have both taken our packed lunches to work. Dinner tonight is going to be a takeaway after we have been down the road for a few beers.
The van is tucked up in the works car park where we are staying tonight. Will seem strange waking up at work in the morning!
We were supposed to be heading to a friends house in Lincolnshire tomorrow after the wheels are fitted but he rang yesterday to say he has tested positive for Covid so that is a no go now. Think we are going to head out into Derbyshire instead now.1 -

Just hope everything is alright when they are fitted.1 -
Didn't think van wheels would be any different to any other type of wheels but makes sense given the additional load. Learn something everyday ha. Always is a little more difficult when a company is a specialist in their field, hopefully all will go well now.
Have a nice time wherever you end up.1 -

Thankfully the wheels have arrived and apparently they look as good in the flesh as they did on the website. Other half seems happy with them anyway.0 -
We had a super busy day yesterday. Was strange waking up at work!
The wheels are now fitted on the van and we love them.
We had a drive out into Derbyshire and spent the night at Castleton. We had a really good time.
Unfortunately it's turned to rain again now. Not got much planned for today mind. Will have a lazy morning here over a few coffee's before heading home. Must get some gas on the way home.

Hope the weather wasn’t too bad up there. Lovely part of the world but can be quite grim when the weather is bad.It was ok here yesterday but this morning it was !!!!!! horrendous. Those wheels look like something you’d fit to a Land Rover 90 for off roading, didn’t realise you did that in it?1
