Time to Face The Music

We had a surprisingly good drive up to Ripon last night, the traffic in the A1 wasn't bad at all. We got here in time to have a couple of drinks in the pub before dinner.

This morning we plan to have a wander around town before coming back to have breakfast on the vab and then heading out into the Dale's.

I don't think the diet is going to be doing very well this week with the amount of Wensleydale cheese we have bought!

We left Hawes this morning and travelled across the Buttertubs Pass to the CB Inn. A beautiful drive but it has done nothing for the fuel economy 🤣🤣🤣




We found a beautiful place at an abandoned lead mine to stop for breakfast with the most amazing views.

Dinner now in the pub which looks amazing. Looking forward to this one!

We have just got back home after a brilliant long weekend in North Yorkshire. It has been amazing.

Dinner in the pub last night was really nice.



This morning we had a nice dog walk early doors before having cheese on toast for breakfast and making an early getaway.

Traffic wasn't too bad and we called into the Designer Outlet on the way home for a few bits of summer clothing.

Now back home with a load of washing in to hang out in a few minutes. Just cut the grass, the van is unloaded, other half has just gone to the shops and then it's time to enjoy the sunshine in the garden for the afternoon. 

Being lazy tonight and ordering a takeaway in.
