Your week away looked lovely. We couldn’t decide whether to go away this last weekend but decided to get some things sorted in the garden whilst the weather was nice. Once we’ve sorted the garden in spring it is fairly low maintenance. We do want to get away before we head to Cornwall in June though. Think this is the longest we haven’t ventured out in it.January spends - £587.581

Mid week again. Half way there.
£100 sent to the energy account today. That is starting to build up credit again now for next winter, although we still have a decent chunk left in there from last winter and now being on a fixed rate we know what this winters bills will be. I think we will be paying too much for our energy with the credit balance taken into account.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was toast, (the bargain 20p loaf I picked up on Monday night is doing well), we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is garlic and herb chicken breast with wholegrain and wild rice and vegetables.

A 2 pound loss tonight so back to where we started before the Bank Holiday weekend.
I have switched our fixed energy tariff again today. Our supplier had brought out a slightly cheaper fix, again with no exit fees. Only saves us £40 a year but it's £40 I would rather have, plus it pushes the fix into May next year.
This is the third time in a couple of months we have switched tariff to save a bit here and there. It will all add up.1 -
Better in your pocket than theirs. Well done on the weight loss 👏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog. It is a relaxing evening on the sofa watching a film with a few drinks.
Another weekend at home for us. We have a family birthday meal to attend tomorrow evening. Looking forward too a nice lie in in the morning.1 -
