No chance of a lie in around here. The dogs alarm clock is stuck on 6am!

The other half is pretending he is going to get more sleep. He won't 🤣🤣🤣

Not much happening today. We are going to nip into town and get the car washed and valeted. We will go and grab a coffee while they do that and get some fruit and vegetables from the market.

We are at a family meal this evening so the dog is going to be home alone. Not often that happens. He won't be happy about it but it's only for a couple of hours. He will survive!

We have been on operation "tire the dog out" today and it seems to be working.

He is shattered but we won't let him sleep until we disappear at 5.30pm.

His eyes are closing sat up bless him.

We are going to take him for a good walk shortly,  then he will have a big bowl of pasta and them hopefully he will sleep for the few hours we are out. 🤞

The neighbours have said they will drop in if they hear him crying for too long but will ignore him for a little while first.

He has been a good boy. The neighbours didn't hear him at all and they were in their garden all evening.

I expect he will be a velcro dog tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣

I'm shattered. Time for bed now I think!

It's nice to wake up fresh as a daisy on a Sunday morning.

Not got too much planned for today. Going to get some washing hung on the line today while it's dry and we will get the grass cut as well. Need to nip into Sheffield at dinnertime, our friends are coming to pick up the wheels they have bought from us.

Other than that it's a day of dog walks again.

Going to do a mini English breakfast this morning and dinner later is roast lamb and vegetables.

Another start to the working week.

£393 sent to the motorhome loan this morning.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is lamb in black bean sauce with noodles and spring roll.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • weekly shop
We got our annual mortgage statement through at the weekend and due to our overpayments they have reduced our monthly repayment by £25. We have increased it again to a round £1600 per month which means our overpayment has gone from £405 per month to £430 per month.

Good to see you doing well as always mate. How much interest does that overpayment knock off your mortgage?

Would have to run the figures through but it saves a fair amount.

We want as low a balance as possible when we come to remortgage in a couple of years time. Will be our last remortgage!

    Saves about £6.6k in interest.

We hope to increase the overpayment amount again before too long.
