The scales were kind this evening and I have dropped another half pound.
Not a big loss this week but a loss non the less.2 -

Could get used to these drier lighter mornings. It was lovely walking the dog first thing.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is hot and spicy chicken breast with naga rice and vegetables.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- cleaning the bathrooms
- vacuuming the house

It's been lovely here in London today - although I get the sneaking feeling that just a little way further north at home my washing I put on the line first thing will shortly be getting wet again!
Hopefully the weather will sort itself out for you to get into the garden soon enough - we've done odds and ends but not really been able to get stuck in overmuch yet.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I’m jealous of all your lovely weather. It’s rained on and off here again. I’m so fed up of grey skies.January spends - £587.580

It's turned to rain here again now. Just managed to get the dog walked afterword before it started.
Need it to stop. Everything is sodden. The grass is loving it and growing like mad but it's too wet to cut it!
Hopefully we can string a few dry days together soon and we will tackle it.0 -
You're doing well @RelievedSheff as for the weather, I agree it's been a wet winter, never seems to have stopped raining and hardly seen a blue sky. Always seems to be very cold here though I'm not sure if it's the big change in temperature from the now constant 21C in the house to outside.
You and me both re garden. We want to do a fair bit to ours but no signs of the weather being clear or warm enough.1 -
It's Friday. Seems to have been a quick working week this week.
£113 payment to the energy account this morning. Our bill for this month will be around that much so we are done with using up credit for this winter. Time to start building it back up for next winter now. We have around £180 credit left from this winter so not too bad.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work, salad box for me still, and dinner tonight will be southern fried chicken with sweet potato chips and homemade coleslaw.
No jobs tonight other than walking the dog. It will be a quiet evening on the sofa watching a film with a few drinks.
We are both quite looking forward to a quiet weekend at home this weekend. Hopefully the weather is going to be better than forecast. We would like to either get the gardens tidied up or get the van washed inside and out this weekend.1 -
Fed up of the rain here too. We’re off in Millie on Thursday for 5 days so hopefully it’ll dry up and let the sun shine 🤞🤞🤞January spends - £587.581

Where you off to? We’re away in our motorhome in Canterbury this weekend. Weather has been good so far.0
