Not much planned for today. We are going to have a lazy morning here before heading back home. We don't have far to go today, only half an hour down the road.

Will take the dog for a walk shortly after a coffee.

We need to fill up with diesel and check the tyre pressures on the way home. The next time the van goes out will be Easter on the trip to Scotland.

Think we are having cheese on toast for breakfast and we have roast pork and vegetables later on for dinner.

We have had a brilliant weekend and will definitely come back again soon.

Had one of those days today where everything has turned into a farce.

The two tyre pressure machines where we normally do them were today struggling to get to the 80psi the van tyres take. No idea why they usually do it. Then the fuel pump wouldn't deliver diesel 🙄

It's really cold today as well. A complete contrast to the lovely spring weather we enjoyed yesterday. Its just cold and wet today. Dog hasn't been overly enthusiastic about going out.

Thankfully the house is nice and warm so we are sat in the kitchen watching the horrible weather outside with a couple of drinks and some tunes.

Good to hear you had a nice weekend although the weather has been awful today it must be nice not having a long drive back home.

Thankfully it is only half an hour down the road so it wasn't a long drive back yesterday. Still wasn't pleasant though.

Another wet and miserable start to the day today. Back to work today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is cajun pork wraps.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • weekly shop
A quieter week in store for us this week. Nothing planned at all other than work and a few relaxing evenings in front of the TV.

Not sure whether this winter has been particularly bad or if I’m impatient to enjoy my new garden tbh but it definitely wasn’t great weather this morning. Did at least stop raining fairly early in the day. Seems like it might be finally getting a bit warmer this week at last.

I think this winter has been really wet, not overly cold just wet. We have not ventured into our garden at all yet this year it just hasn't been dry enough. It is in desperate need of a tidy up.

Mid week already. This week seems to be flying by.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is venison curry using up some leftovers in the freezer with wholegrain basmati and wild rice, vegetable samosa and onion bhaji.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • load of washing
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • weigh in Wednesday
I don't feel as though I have lost any weight this week but we shall see what the scales have to say about that tonight!
