It's forecast to be a dry day here today which will make a nice change.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is stuffed chicken with rice and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • cutting the front lawn
    • getting the BBQ meat out from the garage freezer for Saturday
Rain stopped play with the grass cutting last night. I was half way through the back garden when it started but I persevered and got the back garden done. The other half can do the front garden tonight while I clean the kitchen. It shouldn't take long.

We were both woken this morning in the early hours with the rain hammering down. Don't know what time it was but it was very heavy rain. We were both surprised that there was no sign of any flooding on the way to work this morning.

Anyway. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is bangers and cheesy mash with some nice lamb and mint sausages and the last of the nice cheese we brought back from Norfolk. Will serve that with some veggies and maybe some Yorkshire pudding as well.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • vacuuming the house
    • load of washing
I remembered to get the meat out of the garage freezer for Saturday's BBQ. We need a bigger fridge. It is now packed with meat!!

I sometimes use the motorhome fridge if I need extra fridge space!  Perhaps an option for you to think about if you know in advance that you'll need the space.

It's Friday and an evening at home for us this Friday.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pizza and chips after a few beers on the sofa watching a film or two.

Just need to walk the dog when we get home and the other half is going to give him a bath as well tonight. Then we can sit down and chill out. We had better make the most of the peace and quiet tonight because it won't be like that tomorrow!!

It will be a busy day today.

We will be getting up soon to have a coffee and start the prep work for the bbq later.

We need to nip to the shops to pick up a few bits and bobs that we need. Shouldn't take long though then we will wait for the carnage to begin.

    Wish us luck!

It's a good job the other half decided to clean the bbq this morning. It ran out of gas while he was heating it up when he had done 🙈

Doesn't seem like two minutes ago we last changed it!

I seem to have been prepping food all morning. Glad I don't have to cater for this many on a regular basis 🙄

The forecast is for it to stay dry but the clouds seem to be suggesting otherwise 🤣🤣🤣
