Good to see the totals coming down again. Not long now before you can cross off card 2. Pizza for lunch sounds like an excellent idea to me 😊

Got an email from work yesterday evening to say that our cost of living pay rise will be 1% as of 1st January. To be quite honest I don't think that any of us expected a rise this time round with all that has gone on this last year, so that was a nice surprise. It won't work out a huge amount extra each month after tax and National Insurance but every little helps.2 -
Thats it. Computer put away another week at work over. Just one more day to do on Monday before the Christmas break. I think I have lined myself up for an easy day.
Dog has been for his after work walk, I have had a quick shower. Time for a beer now I think while I wait for the other half to get home.3 -
Good news about the pay rise, better than nothing, especially this year. I finish Wednesday. Enjoy your evening 🍻I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

We have a low spend day in store today.
We need to get some fruit and vegetables from the farm shop and we are having a take out curry for dinner tonight.
Breakfast is from stores though. Dry cured bacon, Stornoway Black pudding, air fried hash brown, scrambled eggs, grilled cherry tomatoes and beans.
We have not got much planned for today. We need to take the dog out for a good long walk but not much else.
Mind you the weather sounds rubbish outside. Not got up to look yet but it sounds horrible 😃3 -
Had a beautiful walk this morning with the dog. He is crashed out in bed now.

That looks like a great place to walk. It turned out to be a lovely day, quite warm in the sun. Hope you enjoyed your take away.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

The take out was OK. Nothing to write home about but OK and I didn't have to cook it.3 -
It should be a no spends day today.
Breakfast and dinner are from stores. Full English for breakfast again and dinner tonight is roast pork with all the trimmings.
Nothing planned for today again other than a long walk with the dog. The dog is having a bath when we get back so that he smells nice for Christmas.4
