We had a great evening last night. And amazingly I feel alright this morning.

We are aiming for a no spends day today. Not declaring it yet though. Will see how we get on first.

Breakfast is going to be a full English this morning and we have roast chicken with all the trimmings later on for dinner.

Today's main job is cleaning the car and the inside of the van. I need to go and turn the washing machine on shortly to wash the van bedding which is hopefully going on the line to dry today.

We are going to take the dog for a longer walk this morning across the fields to the next village. Not done that walk since lock down. Not sure why because it's a nice walk.

On the dog front. He must be shattered, he hasn't woken up yet and is still snoring away.
  • We still have a hosepipe ban down here in the south west and our local garden centre doesn’t put them out. We have the highest bills too 😒. Washing our cars involves a trip to the local car wash or numerous buckets. Presumably no ban up where you are and that’s why you can’t get one?

No hosepipe ban here. We never had one.

Although neighbouring Yorkshire Water areas did have one.

We had one here, but it ended on 6th December.

  • Good job we dont have a hose pipe ban here. The other half is currently washing the car. It was filthy. Don't think it has ever been so dirty!

I have done the inside of the van. Just waiting on the bedding drying so that can go back on. Found a mucky mark on one of the seats. No idea what it was but luckily some fabric foam has cleaned it off. When the weather gets warmer I will clean all of the seats with fabric foam I think to freshen them up. Dont fancy putting alcantara in the washing machine, although allegedly you can!

Dinner is now prepped. Dog is asleep in his kitchen bed after this mornings walk. He was a good boy this morning. He didn't chase the sheep or the horses or even pay them much attention. I think he must be too tired and too lazy today.
