I thought the water problem had been sorted with the Dartmoor resevoir which was delayed for many years due to 1 landowner. We used to live in the Torbay area and suffered in the 1970s drought. I sympathise with your water rates as they have always been ridiculously high. We are further north than you I think in the west but we are very lucky as we have never had a shortage in the last 35 years.enthusiasticsaver said:We still have a hosepipe ban down here in the south west and our local garden centre doesn’t put them out. We have the highest bills too 😒. Washing our cars involves a trip to the local car wash or numerous buckets. Presumably no ban up where you are and that’s why you can’t get one?

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is chicken enchiladas made with the leftover roast chicken from yesterdays roast dinner.

Our left over chicken gets given to the dog, but I may have to consider doing something with them such as enchiladas or quesadillas. You've inspired me!

Oh the dog has some as well. He had some with his Sunday dinner yesterday, some with his biscuits this morning and he will have some tonight as well with his biscuits and a bit of bell pepper.LittleMissDetermined said:Our left over chicken gets given to the dog, but I may have to consider doing something with them such as enchiladas or quesadillas. We shared a chicken breast with dinner last night (the other half has the wings as well), have had the second breast on sandwiches for lunch today and the legs will be used in enchiladas tonight.1 -

Our dog like to watch films and football, it makes me chuckle. I hadn't realised there was a new series of Clarkson's Farm so I will add that to my watchlist. Caleb is my favourite, his relationship with Jeremy and how he gets frustrated is hilarious!Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £7390 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3677/£6000 | Travel savings £1832 | Sinking pots £31070
