The trouble we find is that the club sites are always really well located and where we want to visit.
We are at Tewksbury Abbey site for Easter then their site at Cheddar Gorge for one of the bank holidays in May.
We seem to have a lot of sites booked for this year. The others are smaller privately run ones though which tend to be a lot cheaper.
Bargain site has to be at Wells next the Sea. £20 a night over the bank holiday weekend and a 5 minute walk to the harbour.1 -
A change of plans this evening. We ended up having a KFC instead.
Means I'm doing the shopping tomorrow night instead now.1 -
Not sure if you have one in Sheffield but have you tried the new poppin chicken place. One in Nottingham is always full of students but it’s definitely better than kfc.0

There certainly isn't one in Worksop. That would be far too modern. We have only just got a KFCalt80 said:Not sure if you have one in Sheffield but have you tried the new poppin chicken place. One in Nottingham is always full of students but it’s definitely better than kfc.

It isn't the liveliest place around. Although there does seem to be a fair bit of investment and new development going on commercially in the area. More so on the ring road then the town centre sadly.alt80 said:@RelievedSheff haha Worksop is the land that time forgot tbh I’m surprised you’ve got running water and electricity never mind the KFC.Trout sounds very nice this evening.
We have been awarded 20 million from the "levelling up" fund as well so hopefully in the next few years we might start to see some more investment in the area.
It has improved vastly in the four years we have lived here. So fingers crossed for more of the same.2 -

January spends - £587.580 -
I thought the same when I read the updatemilann said:Not and a kfc for ages.
