Its going to be a tense week of waiting to find out 😬Sun_Addict said:Fingers crossed you don’t get it 🤞I can remember you booking that jubilee weekend. We kept our distance from people prior to our last holiday just in case.0 -
Today could be a no spends day. I have decided to do the shopping tomorrow this weekend and see if the shops are any quieter on a Sunday.
Today we are washing the van and the car. I'm going to wash the dogs blankets and toys as well.
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English for breakfast and slow cooked beef shin madras for dinner later with rice, vegetable samosa and naan bread.
We do need to go to a garden centre at some point and get some advice on an insect infestation in our hedge. Might do that tomorrow though.0 -

Hopefully your immune system will still be fully charged after your recent illness.January spends - £587.581

Fingers crossed we are still immune. No signs of it yet. Although I suspect it would be a bit early to tell yet anyway from Thursday evening.
It has been a no spends day today so far. Washing the van this morning turned into a huge spring clean inside for me with everything out of every cupboard and anything not being used taken off to shed some weight.
Think that's a job that needs doing more often. It was surprising what came off.
I have washed all of the dogs blankets and toys. He didn’t like his toys being washed. He was taking them out of the washing machine as I was putting them in 🤣🤣🤣
Just waiting for the van mats and van dog blankets to dry so I can put them back on the van and that is the van done and ready for the Van Love Festival at Elvington we are going to next weekends with friends.
The curry is in the slow cooker and has started to smell really nice. Keep getting a waft of the smell.
Time to have a sit down now with a beer I think. No more plans for today other than to walk the dog later.1 -
It won't be a no spends day today. I need to nip to the shop later for a few bits. Bread and milk mainly.
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast and roast chicken with all the trimmings later on for dinner.
We have one of the other half's work mates coming round later for a while. Not sure what they are planning on doing yet.
Think the other half is going to polish the car today as well.0 -
It’s surprising what can be acquired in the MH. Dh took ours to the local car wash to see how much it would cost for a clean…..£30 not including the roof. So he brought it home and did it himself 😁👍
Roast chicken with all the trimmings sounds good.January spends - £587.582 -
Turns out it will be a no spends day after all. In fact that makes it a no spends weekend. Can't remember the last time that happened.
I will do the shopping tomorrow after work.
The other half's work mate has just left. I have just prepared dinner. We will take the dog for another walk shortly then we can relax and enjoy the last of the weekend.
This will be our last weekend of chilling out for a while so we are going to make the most of it.1 -
I don't even know why some of the stuff I took off the van was on there 🤣🤣🤣milann said:It’s surprising what can be acquired in the MH. Dh took ours to the local car wash to see how much it would cost for a clean…..£30 not including the roof. So he brought it home and did it himself 😁👍
