Those woods are looking very lush and green. It’s been a much better day than forecast.
They always do and I'm not sure how. We have had no rain to speak of here for a long time now!
  • Great pics, the woods look so pretty with the bluebells

It will be a no spends day today. Number 8 for May.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was a sausage and cheese wrap, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is rib eye steaks with air fried cajun chips, beer battered onion rings and green beans.

No jobs to do tonight which makes a nice change for a Monday.

I will have to walk the dog in the park every lunchtime this week as the receptionist where the other half works is in holiday this week. Just gets him out and about and breaks his day up a bit for him. Makes a nice change for me as well to get out of the office.

The rain finally arrived last night. It was so heavy that it woke us up a couple of times. I'm sure the garden will appreciate it. I think we are due more rain today as well.

Sausage and cheese wraps are a cracking way to begin a Monday RS - nice one!

We had a fair bit of rain yesterday - it never got that heavy mind although I think that may have changed overnight. Our pots on the wall all looked well watered this morning anyway so that saves us a job!

It will be a no spends day today. Number 9 for May.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is cajun salmon with rice and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • loading of washing
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • walking the dog
We have decided to take the dog for a walk in one of the big parks we pass on the way home tonight. It has been a long time since either of us went in this particular park. Probably 18 years ago for me!!
  • The weather is supposed to be nice today so a walk in the park will be perfect, and it's always good to have new sniffs for the doggo!

He loves going and exploring new places so I'm sure he will be excited about the park.
