Sounds like the dog had a great time. I’ve only just been able to connect to work as they’ve had internet provider issues. Have a good day 😁

  • Wish we could have internet problems today.

Two Teams meetings down this morning. Two more to go this afternoon  :/

Good luck with the multiple teams meetings ha I hate the video calls. I took the gov advice and have almost everyone wfh where possible. Whole thing getting miserable now very busy but no atmosphere. Both myself and a lot of my fee earning staff have wfh 2/3 days for years but the whole wfh 5 days has got very old. Seems to be for a lot of people and I actually don’t think the office market is going to be as affected as people think in the long run hoping not anyway.

Can’t wait until (hopefully) next week and we can get back proper face to face team meeting with staff and coffee lol.
  • We have been told we will be working from home until Easter. In a lot of ways I don't mind but the Teams meetings are wearing a bit thin now. Just don't seem to have got anything done this morning, will be the same this afternoon which will just mean that I have to catch up tomorrow. Was hoping to have left my self a quiet day tomorrow to wind down the week  :/

Oh well looks like we will be having another cheap month in December. Tier 3 for us again.

What I would give to go to the pub for a couple of pints!!

I really feel for the hospitality industry especially on the run up to Christmas, just terrible.

Tier 3 for me too. - was only Tier 1 before the lockdown so a big jump for us.

  • We're tier 2 need to look up what that actually means for me as was tier 1 before. I don't go out much other than food shopping anyway really at the moment just to be safe. Takeaways are my downfall.

It is another no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, me and the dog have liver on onions for our lunch and it is Fakeaway Friday. Pizza tonight with a few sides and dips.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home.
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • load of washing
    • walking the dog x 2
We are pretty certain that the other half is furloughed next week but he won't find out until this afternoon when he gets his weekly pay packet. He was figuring out what jobs need doing around the house last night. The weather forecast for next week looks cool but not frosty or icy overnight so he thinks he will dig the paths and borders in the garden while he gets the chance and the weather is ok to do so. He doesn't know how long he will be furloughed for but he has a few other jobs to be getting on with as well to keep him busy and he will take the dog out for some long walks as well.

I have told the dog he had better make good use of his last quiet day today :)

I love how you and the dog have the same lunch 😂 Hopefully OH won't be furloughed for too long, just long enough to get the jobs done would be handy.
