Just had a call from the motorhome dealers. They have ordered the parts for the van but they are on back order so will take up to 6 weeks to arrive so we are going to pick the van up again this afternoon and take it home.
The daft thing is I can order them online and get them for next day delivery but their company policy states they have to get them direct from the manufacturers.
I might just end up taking the day off work when it has to go back. It should only be a half hours job to fit the new part. The other half can't keep taking the time off work because he wont get paid for it!0 -
It will be a no spends day today. Number 3 of March.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was Kedgeree, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is chilli beef with stir fried vegetables and noodles.

We are trying to have a more sensible month this month.
Plus we have a few bills for the van coming up with the road tax and service and MOT due this month and the insurance up for renewal next month.
We are aiming to not have to put any of this onto the credit cards. So we are being careful with the spends this month, or that is the aim anyway
