Sheff Not buildings but this is I think fantastic.

The Carnac alignments | Brittany tourism

When you see that you wonder what all the fuss is about at Stonehenge.
That looks amazing. Definitely on the list of places to visit.

Have a good time at the party 🍻 I hope Syd’s not too cross when you pick him up tomorrow😬
He won't be happy when he gets back 🤣🤣🤣

Mind you they spoil him rotten. It's like a holiday for him when he goes with them. 🤔

In which case you probably want to either stick to the coast or choose a river to go along.  There are plenty of aires as long as you avoid the Med coast as they are few and far apart and also much more expensive!
There are a couple of places in Brittany on the river where we hired the boat that we want to go again. Might see more of them if we arrive by van. Messac and Josselin.

I think we will aim to do a mixture of coastal and rivers through.
There’s definitely an aire at Josselin as we stayed there a few years ago.  Not been to Messac but there is an aire there with facilities, current price is 8.30 euros including EHU.  It’s by the marina.

That marina is where we hired the boat from 😀

    We loved Messac.
  • Breakfast in the pub was spot on and they still had the buy one get one free offer on. £11 for two full English with toast and four coffee's. Can't complain at that. 😀

It should be a no spends day today.

Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English for breakfast and roast pork with all the trimmings later on.

We had a brilliant time last night. It was great to catch up with friends.

Unfortunately we got a call to say the dog was not settling at the dog sitters and had spent all day crying. We are going to take the van home after a cup of tea and go and pick him up.

Oh bless him, he’s missing you, he’s so used to going everywhere with you both. He’ll be so pleased to see you.

He was relieved to see us. He did keep the sitters up all night with his crying though!

Just got home after taking him for a walk on the way back. Dinner is prepped. Just going to clean the van out now ready to go back to the dealers on Tuesday morning.

  • Didn't realize until I just looked that the attached cottage at the side of the pub is let out as a holiday let, £1275 for a week in August. Nice area close to the pub but a little further away ............
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.
