It is a stay at home weekend this weekend.Sun_Addict said:Sounds like a nice relaxing evening to look forward to. Is it a stay at home weekend?
The dog is at the groomers tomorrow morning and we have the neighbours coming round for dinner tomorrow night.1 -
Definitely not a no spends day today.
We are getting up very soon. The dog is at the groomers at 9am. We need to go to the farm shop to pick up supplies for next weekend when we have friends staying over. Then we are going to have coffee and cake at the garden centre while the car is washed. Then it's onto the pub where friends are having a party in a couple of weeks to ask if they would mind us parking the van in the car park overnight. Then it's on into town to pick up a fee bits and pieces before we head home and have a tidy up before the neighbours come round at 6pm for a Chinese takeaway and plenty of liquid refreshments.
A busy and quite spendy day in store.2 -
Sounds like a good day though even if it is spendy.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

It has been none stop today.
We have got everything done we had planned though.
The pub where we are going in a couple of weeks is beautiful and they have agreed we can stay overnight in the car park. The land lady was so helpful. I certainly think we will have a good night there 😀
Coffee and cake was lovely at the garden centre. That was free but we did end up spending £15 on a plant for the spare bathroom. So not really free at all 🤣🤣🤣
The dog is absolutely shattered and was super disgruntled when he got home and saw that we have rearranged the dining table to seat 5 people and brought the tub chair down from the bedroom. He is not amused. Although he seems to think the tub chair is in the kitchen for his use only 🤗
The other half is faffing around ironing shirts for tonight and the party in a couple of weeks. He is rubbish at it but I refuse to iron stuff when he wants to wear it. He can do it himself. When he is done I will go up and have one last tidy round upstairs. Then I think we are ready for the neighbours coming round shortly.1 -
Have a lovely evening 👍January spends - £587.582

It will be a no spends day today. We have no plans to go anywhere other than walking the dog, certainly nowhere that involves the car today 😃
Breakfast will be egg and soldiers when we feel up to it and dinner tonight is slow cooked minted lamb shoulder and veggies.2 -
Last night was a good one I take it 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Yes it was. Will definitely be taking it easy today 😕Sun_Addict said:Last night was a good one I take it 😆1 -
The weather isn't very nice this morning. It was a soggy and muddy walk.

Found some early signs that spring is just around the corner.
