It's suddenly got easier here to get a booster so do persevere for an appointment.  @alt80 if you are still awake (and I hope not!) Try now.  A lot of the centres are open to ten pm .

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having omelette for my lunch and dinner tonight is air fried jerk chicken thighs, rice and vegetables.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • walking the dog x 2

  • Meter readings have been submitted to the energy company again this morning and my calculations suggest that we have only just spent over our direct debit amount by a few pounds which is unusual for us at this time of year. Mind you we have had some mild days and nights recently I suppose.

It does mean that we are going into January and February, which are months we usually do use more than our direct debit amount, with a nice chunk of credit to eat into which is nice to know.

It should be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast is crumpets, lunch is jacket potato and chilli and dinner tonight is steak pie from the local farm shop with chips and chilli and mint mushy peas.

    Todays jobs include:
    • working from home
    • load of washing
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • walking the dog
The other half has the day off work today and is going to spend the day delivering Christmas presents to various people. It will probably take him most of the day as he will be driving here there and everywhere.

I have my booster jab very shortly. Just having a coffee and breakfast and then I will set off.

Booster done and dusted. It was the Moderna vaccine they were using for boosters today. They said they are trying to give a different booster to what the initial vaccinations were. Fingers crossed for no side effects from the booster.

My first two were Pfizer and I felt fine with them.

The other half had AZ for his first two and was quite ill after the first one. He had Pfizer for his booster and was fine.

It just seems to be luck of the draw with symptoms. No reasoning behind it at all.

Mr SA was fine after all 3 of his vaccinations unlike me. Mind you he's had that much chemo pumped into him his body must be used to being poisoned 😆

Had mine today too, my Mrs also had hers. We are both fine apart from the sore arm. My Mrs will be complaining about that for the next couple of weeks if the others we had are anything to go by.
